TIME: 2-4 hours
LOCATION: Downtown Asheville
GROUP SIZE: 6+ for Private Group
Asheville has become quite the foodie destination in recent years with a reputation as Foodtopia USA, creative farm-to-table restaurants around every bend, and tasty beverages to complement each dish including mocktails, craft beer, ciders, artisan cocktails, ginger beer, and more. The best way to dip your toe into the scene? A food tour of course! When it comes to sampling Asheville’s menu, you have options:
Public Tours: (M|W|Th|F)
$69/person, 3-4hrs, 6-7 stops. Visit six to seven handpicked downtown restaurants and food shops, offering a wide variety of tastings and beverage pairings with a splash of local history along the way. With its strong roots in Southern heritage, Asheville has branched into a cosmopolitan Mecca of abundant food choices from all around the world, which we Asheville food enthusiasts are eager to share with our community and visitors.
Private Afternoon Tour: (M|T|W|Th|F)
(best budget-friendly option w/ a lower time commitment)
$69/person; 2hrs, private tour. Usually starting mid-afternoon (2-3pm). This option is a slightly abbreviated version of the Classic Public Tour and includes approximately 4 stops with small bites at each stop plus some beverage pairings. It’s a great way to sample Asheville’s food scene without committing an entire afternoon.
Progressive Dinner: (Su|M|T|Th)
$125/person, 4+ hrs, private tour. Suggested start time 5pm. Typically includes 5 stops, with full-sized portions and full-sized drinks at each stop. There will be a wine and cheese stop, a small plate stop, an entree stop, a dessert stop, and a cocktail bar at the end, as well as a “take home treat.” We spend a little more time at each stop, and have a relaxed and intimate tour, that will also include some of the history and such above, but will be a slightly shorter walk, with more time spent indoors than out. This tour would only include the restaurants in town that are among the best of the best!
Minimum group size 6 for private tours or flat fee for smaller groups. Advance reservations recommended.

What About Dietary Concerns?
We can accommodate most dietary restrictions with advance notice. Apologies but we do not offer Kosher options on this tour.
How Much Food is Served on Tour?
The number of stops vary depending on which type of tour you choose. Most folks find that there is enough food to make a meal. Note that the Private Afternoon Tours are lightest on food while Progressive Dinners are most filling.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable, as they guarantee your spot on the tour. If we cancel a tour for any reason, we will issue a full refund or offer to reschedule your group.
Can Children Come Along?
Children are welcome. We love kids! If they will be eating on the tour, it will be necessary to purchase a ticket for them. This tour involves approximately three and a half hours of walking and may not be suitable for all ages. Strollers may be difficult to maneuver on the hills, stairs and cobblestones. We recommend a front/back pack.
What Beverages are Served on Tour?
Stops on the tour may include beer, wine, cocktails, sprits, coffee, tea etc. Water is served on the tour throughout the tour stops. If you plan on consuming alcoholic beverages, please bring your ID.
What About Weather?
A little rain doesn’t slow us down. Tours take place rain or shine. Be sure to check the forecast and dress appropriately.

First off, huge thank you to Nicole. My sister and I started planning our trip to Asheville in January. We contacted Nicole, and she not only gave us information on the Wellness Tour options, she gave us hints for EVERYTHING to do on our trip, including specific hikes, places to eat and shop, and other adventures. She answered every email so promptly and helped us every step of the way. We ended up booking the salt cave session, the downtown Asheville walking tour, and a food tour. The salt cave was relaxing and a great way to start the day. Our walking tour guide was Heidi, and she was fun, kind, and an excellent guide. We loved yoga in the park, and all of the information on Asheville history and architecture! We made stops at The Herbiary, The Bee Charmer, and Dobra Tea, and loved them all.
We spent the afternoon on a Food Tour, and we HIGHLY recommend it! The food and drinks were excellent and plentiful, and Stu was absolutely fantastic - fun, funny, knowledgeable...just great!
It was a perfect day and we're glad we did it at the beginning of our trip so now we know where to go for the rest of the week!!
