Here at Asheville Wellness Tours, our collective passion is to share the best of Asheville through the lens of wellness.
We believe the experience can be lighthearted and fun (think: yoga hikes, burlesque dancing, and even wine tasting!), deep and meaningful (women’s circles, Tarot readings, cacao ceremonies), or anything in between! Our greatest joy is crafting experiences that encourage connection with ourselves, others, and nature.
We are experts in our fields with decades of experience in: event planning, custom travel, retreat organizing, acupuncture, yoga instruction, massage, and so much more. Our network of local practitioners and experts is carefully curated to include the best of the best. We can’t wait for you to meet them. Here are a few:
Nicole Will – Owner, Custom Itineraries
Planning an Asheville adventure and need some support? You’ll likely work with Nicole along the journey and she can’t wait to chat about your vision.
“I’ve spent the past 15 years exploring. I’ve held jobs that should really be titled “life experiences that paid me sometimes” and I’m so doggone grateful that I have a foundation of support in the form of family and friends whose love and tethering have allowed me to explore this wild world of ours and push my comfort zone time and time again. I have a restless spirit that took me on grand adventures throughout the US and internationally before leading me to plant roots here in sweet ole Asheville, NC in 2008. I love this mountain town and am passionate about sharing its unique and wonderful experiences. It is such an honor to support you all in efforts to unplug and reconnect with each other. Get in touch! Let’s start planning your adventure!”
Sue Ann – Owner, Yoga Instructor, Guide
If you’re including a Yoga Hike, Urban Wellness Tour, or Private Group Yoga session in your Asheville itinerary, you just might meet this vibrant soul in person. She also manages most of our online presence so you can find her behind the scenes too.
Before moving to Asheville in 2011, Sue Ann spent many years living in & running a retreat center in British Columbia where she apprenticed with a senior mentor & dedicated herself to studying yoga asana, yogic philosophy, ayurveda, community living & a wide variety of healing modalities. After earning a rarely obtained 800 hour Vijnana Yoga International Teaching Certification, she moved her family to Asheville to continue to share her love for the soul enriching world of wellness with others. She is deeply connected to the community & is excited to share the wonderfully unique options for adventure, wellness, connection, & rejuvenation in this magical mountain town.
From Sue Ann:
“I live and teach in Asheville, North Carolina and am passionate about health and wellness. I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years and am proud to hold an 800 hour Vijnana Yoga International Teaching Certification. Teaching allows me to connect with others on their wellness journey. Asheville holds a special place in my heart. I am constantly inspired and encouraged by the art and healing in this town and can’t wait to share this magical place with you.”

Sam Grunder: Yoga Hike Guide
A yoga instructor, floral artist, and nature enthusiast, Sam is passionate about cultivating a reverence for nature through yoga. She strives to integrate yoga with the spirit of environmentalism, sprinkling in a few botany facts along the way. She is a graduate of Kenyon College with a degree in Religious & Environmental Studies — which is essentially a contemplative study of the human heart and nature. Sam is an Asheville resident and native of the mountainous region of Upstate New York. The mountains have always been her home and she loves sharing our wild places with guests, supporting them with the opportunity to unplug to reconnect here in the lovely Blue Ridge Mountains.
Sarah Marcus: Yoga Hike & Walking Tour Guide
Sarah’s love of nature, yoga, and connecting with others from all walks of life enhances every tour or hike she guides. A lifelong student of yoga and meditation herself, Sarah has a passion for sharing experiences and knowledge with others. She enjoys weaving meditative moments into each tour; welcoming guests to fully immerse in each moment. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys painting, writing, music, and absurd humor. Sarah moved to Asheville in 2016, seeking an open-minded, wacky, beautiful energy vortex to call home; and is grateful for the opportunity to be an ambassador-of-sorts for the city she loves.
