In Person Classes in Asheville: approx 3 hours. We’ll come to you!

Gather around the kitchen, sip your favorite beverage, and bond over the preparation of a nourishing meal under the expert direction of a local chef. Using fresh, farm-to-table ingredients, you will learn about a specific culinary style like European, Asian, Vegan, Ayurvedic, etc. Along the way, we’ll share kitchen tips and tricks to help make meal planning, prep and cleanup easier. The chef will bring everything you need to craft your perfect menu. Appropriate for all cooking levels.

NEW! Farmers’ Market Upgrade. Include a guided shopping excursion at a local farmer’s market where you’ll hand select seasonal ingredients for your meal with guidance from the chef. Add $25/person

Virtual Classes: approx 1 hour. We’ll see you online! (Note, unless you are all together in one space, book PER CONNECTION rather than per person and save!)

Gather around the virtual table, sip your favorite beverage, and bond over the preparation of a nourishing meal under the expert direction of a local chef. These classes last one hour and center around a simpler menu to avoid “zoom fatigue” and leave plenty of time for you all to enjoy your meal together virtually afterwards. After crafting your menu directly with the chef, you will receive an ingredients list and recipe in advance of the class.

In-Person Pricing:

  • $510 total for parties of 1-6
  • $85/person for parties of 7+

Virtual Class Pricing: (note, unless you are all together in one space, you can book PER SCREEN/CONNECTION when reserving your experience, not per person)

  • $275 total for up to 4 screens/connections
  • $400 total for 5-10 screens/connections

Corporate Team Building:

Bring your team together over a delicious meal. Our fun & unique cooking workshops are guided by professional chefs, who will help your team members elevate their cooking skills…whether you’re all together here in Asheville or connecting virtually from the comfort and safety of your own kitchens. With a wonderful variety of cooking styles to choose from, we suggest the following two options based on your group size:

Small Group, More Intimate, Relaxed Pace: Approx 3 hours, In-Person.

Chef will provide hands-on instruction and support as your group works together to craft a three course meal. Through culinary trivia and exciting icebreakers, we’ll divide the group into teams, each responsible for preparing recipes from the selected menu. At the end of the cooking segment, everyone will enjoy the feast they created while our staff serves them at the table in courses.

Large Group, Fast Paced: Approx 3 hours. In Person.

In this fast paced team building activity, guests are divided into large teams and face off in a timed culinary competition. With Chef and the kitchen tstaff as culinary coaches, teams are challenged to create delicious dishes from scratch. When the clock runs out, each team presents their creation to the judge and then enjoys the feast they created. Teams are judged on presentation, taste and teamwork, and the team with the highest overall score will be crowned the winners.

Virtual Cooking Classes: Approx 1 hour. Online.

Gather around the virtual table, sip your favorite beverage, and bond over the preparation of a nourishing meal under the expert direction of a local chef. These classes center around a simpler meal to help combat “zoom-fatigue” and still leave plenty of time for you all to stay online while you enjoy your meal and connect after cooking.

Available for groups of 6-50, this is a lovely way to bond and cultivate your team atmosphere around a nourishing meal. Contact Us to schedule your event.

Can you accommodate dietary concerns?

Definitely! Please let your travel planner know about any dietary concerns or restrictions in your group a week prior to your class so s/he can plan accordingly. Please include specifics like celiac vs gluten-intolerance, allergies and their severity, preferences vs requirements, etc.

Are beverages included?

Cooking classes are BYOB. You’re welcome to bring your own tasty adult beverages but please note that you must be 21+ to consume alcohol…especially if you’re in the chef’s home.

Do I need prior cooking experience?

Beginners are welcome as are experienced chefs. Your instructor will share tidbits and guidance around technique (chopping, sautee, etc), ingredients, menu planning, and more.

Sample Seasonal Menu:

  1. Winter Veggie Salad with roasted delicata squash and rosemary vinaigrette
  2. Cashew Cream Mac & Cheese (vegan) with Savory Stuffed Mushrooms
  3. Guilt Free Chocolate Chia Pudding

What is your cancellation policy?

Due to the customizable nature of this experience, cancellations more than 7 days in advance of your scheduled class are refundable minus a $150/group administrative fee plus any fees charged by our local partners. Cancellations from 7-0 days prior to your scheduled class are non-refundable.

  3. From there, we’ll put you in touch directly with the chef so you can craft the perfect menu for your group.

  • I just returned from a family ladies weekend (12 ladies across three generations!) in Asheville and one of our highlights was a cooking class led by Asheville Wellness Tours at our rental home. It was a super fun evening and the planning of the class was seamless due to the company’s responsiveness and flexibility beforehand. ...They brought all of the supplies and ingredients needed. Small snacks were provided during set up, at which time the ingredients were clearly organized into the 4 recipes we were making. We made a winter veggie salad, cashew mac n cheese, stuffed portabella mushrooms and a lentil stew. A premade and delicious chocolate chia pudding dessert was also served. Once set up was complete, we broke into groups to make the recipes, which had been tailored to our kitchen constraints and group size. The three ladies were really fun and helpful, giving us lots of tips for cooking success along the way. Once the meal was complete, our family enjoyed the feast while the ladies helpfully cleaned the kitchen. I would highly recommend this cooking experience to anyone looking for a fun and different group activity!
