The short answer is that it depends! Factors that might influence the itinerary are special events at specific vineyards, seasonal closures, your preferences, and more. Our classic tours focus on wineries and craft beverages in Henderson County. Your tour typically includes three of the following (actual combination depends on the day/season/group size).

We’ll come to you! Winery Tours for private groups include round trip transportation from your accommodations. Note that locations more than 10 miles from downtown Asheville incur an additional travel fee at a rate of $25 per additional 10 miles.
Absolutely! Our private winery tours can be reserved for solo adventurers or groups as large as….well, the sky is nearly the limit. For parties of 1-5, the price is $930 total. This includes approximately 5hrs of private transportation and tastings at two of your three stops.

Not to be dramatic, but we recommend booking as soon as possible, especially if your desired date is between May – October or falls on a Saturday. Those dates sell out several months in advance while Mon-Thurs and Sundays tend to be more open, especially if you’re visiting within a month or two. Please don’t let that deter you from reaching out though! We will always do what we can to accommodate and are happy to work with you.
Food trucks, small plates, charcuterie boards, and limited menus are often available on site. If you prefer to have the details taken care of in advance, let us handle lunch for you!
Add on a box lunch for $20/person or have a lovely charcuterie box full of local goodies delivered before your pick-up time so you can enjoy it at your leisure along the route for $30/person. Full group cancellations more than 14 days in advance of your scheduled experience are refundable minus a $25/person administrative fee plus any fees charged by our local partners. Out of respect for the guide’s time, full group cancellations from 14-0 days prior to your scheduled service are non-refundable.
Group size decreases will be accepted up to 72hrs prior to your scheduled experience with no penalty as long as minimum group size thresholds are met. Out of respect for your guide’s time, group size decreases between 72-0 hours prior to your scheduled experience are non-refundable and no store credits will be issued within that window.
Your role: If you feel ill, are experiencing Covid-related symptoms, or have been in contact with a person with a confirmed case of Covid 19 in the past two weeks, please stay home and let us know as soon as possible. Our stated cancellation policy will still apply. If you are concerned about the risks of last minute cancellation, please consider taking out travel insurance.

Plan on approximately 5 hours door to door for the classic tour (longer if your location is more than 10 miles from downtown Asheville). The upgraded Tryon area tour takes a minimum of 6 hours. We don’t want you to feel rushed so let us know ASAP if you have dinner/evening plans and we can advise from there.
